Miyavi's concert - Vienna =D

Thu Oct 1, 2009, 10:47 AM
Okay, I decided to write a blog, because this is something too important to leave out.
So I went to Miyavi's concert in Vienna. It was EPIC. Seriously.
I went there with a friend. The concert was on wednesday, but we already went after school, on tuesday. We went there by train, where we listened to music on Ines' phone, mostly Miyavi and One ok rock (mainly because she didn't have any other bands music).
We stayed at my aunt's friend's place, wich was amazing. It was an old apartment and it was really huge and homey. They were very nice, though I only met Karin and Flora, her daughter. But they were really cool people and they were great help to us.
So, on Wednesday, around 12-ish we went out of the apartment. We kind of got a bit lost, because we only barely knew where we were. In the end we walked all the way to Stefansplatz (and it was a long walk, believe me) and from there we took te underground to Gasometer where te concert was held. We got there around three o'clock and after some minutes we finally found the entrance. The group next to us was also from Slovenia, so eventually we started chatting while we waited. First, we met these two girls and I have to say they were really cool. It was really fun chatting with them. After that the rest of their group came back so we kinda made a circle in the crowd (by then quite some people came) and talked.
After some more time passed (we waited for 4 and half hours) our friend Kaja came and she brought with her three more people Šarka, Maja and Matic and our group got even bigger. When they finally let us in we got separated from the rest, so it was me, Ines and Kaja's group.
We waited a bit, but finally Miyavi came on stage! We were in 5th row or something like that and we had a nice view.
The concert was really nice, the fans were mostly nice and responsive (there were some people who just stood there and looked at you weirdly when you screamed or sang along, but I guess such people always come). Miyavi had a great show, and at some point he talked about not giving up and his daughter and I just cried because it was so beautiful. He was crying too and then he sang Kimi ni negai wo and it was just perfect. At chours everyone clapped in rythm and it turned out amazing.
We also had this clapping thing at boom-ha-boom-ha-ha that I can't stop on doing every now and then XD It was amazing how pretty much the whole audience became one and went crazy with Miyavi.
After it ended everyone called 'encore' and 'Miyavi', so he came back on stage and sang Subarashiki kana, kono sekai and Sakihokoru Hana no Yoni. He told us to keep on smiling and that was also really beautiful. I love it how he says that stuff with such emotion, you know he really means it.
There was another funny thing that happened the next day when we were on the train home. There was this huge group of japanese tourists and they kinda didn't know wich seats are they supposed to seat on. They were standing for quite some time and because they were all older people, they finally had to sit down, so in coupe there were those four grandmas. They were SO cute! They talked in japanese amongst themselves and we were all giddy XD they were really cute XD
So yeah, that's pretty much all the important stuff. It was amazing, I'd do it all again XD can't wait for another world tour from Miyavi, hope it comes soon >w< it was an amazing experience and we'll definetly never going to forget it.
We love you Miyavi!
